Throughout my musical career, I have been blessed with the gift of performing here and abroad. I have met so many beautiful people.  Despite being described as a "new school jazz cat", LOL, I am old at heart. I LOVE the traditional Latin arrangements from artists such as Tito Rodriguez, Tito Puente, Machito, Ray Barretto, Palmieri Brothers, El Gran Combo and many others.

As I mentioned on my BIO page, the Carmona's have been involved with some of Latin's greatest artists since the early 1900s. Although I love to perform Latin numbers on stage to spice up a set, you can always catch me smoothing it out on stage with the fellas from 88th Ave or other guest appearances.

Although I love to listen to artists such as: Earth, Wind & Fire, Freddie Fox, Dominic Amato, Paul Brown, Eric Darius, The Rippingtons, FourPlay, Chick Corea, Mel Brown, Wayman Tisdale, Michael Broening, Brian Simpson, Kirk Whalum, Chucho Valdes, Arturo Sandoval, Ramon & Tony Banda, and many many others...............

The Carmona name, and its musical legacy is my TRUE influence.

Now here in the Present - 2008

I came across this video on YOUTUBE. It was a beautiful moment in time between a father & son. Growing up performing along side my father, I can't help but remember the days of music and late nights together. I miss those days...With both of our busy schedules, its often hard to see each other as much as I would like to. I plan to be in the studio with him soon. I look forward to capturing the musical ambiance caught during this video.

I dedicate this video to my Father, Mr. Mike Carmona.
